Born in Switzerland, raised near Montreal, resided in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver (CDA), Zurich, Nyon and Lucerne (CH), Bremen (D), Manchester (UK). October 2007 to May 2008 - sabbatical in St.Ives, Cornwall, UK. October 2008 to January 2009 - artist-in-residence, CAMAC (Centre d'arts Marnay Arts Center), near Paris (FR). February 2009 - artist-in-residence, Cyprus College of Art, Larnaca (CY).
Background and Training
Early training in classical ballet (Montreal). Fifteen years experience as a freelance makeup artist and instructor in Vancouver, Toronto and Zurich. Training and experience as a fashion photographer. Training in desktop publishing. Since 1991, intensive involvement with painting, primarily nonfigurative abstracts.
A number of paintings are held in private collections, and have been exhibited in solo and group shows.
